Since the early days of the IATA Licence Plate bar code as a standardised means of baggage identification Logan Teleflex have had a standardised IT solution to deal with the demands that this technology added to the Baggage Handling System. For many years and over many successful installations the BAG2000 system proved its worth and adapted to meet the changing demands of airlines and airports.
We are now pleased to announce the BAGSTAGE product which supercedes the BAG2000 system. BAGSTAGE has been built on the extensive knowledge that has been gained over some 15 years of experience of providing baggage IT systems and the capabilities of modern hardware and software technology to form a comprehensive system to meet the current and future needs of our customers.
BAGSTAGE retains the common database service which allows a number of functional modules such as SAC, EBS Management, BIDS, BRS etc to seemlessly integrate into this powerful single platform. By being built around Microsoft's dot net framework industry standardisation is assured and a range of web enabled functions are delivered simply to enhance the system control and reporting capabilities.
Integration of Axima's real world experience of managing baggage handling systems to pre-defined service levels has ensured that reporting available from the BAGSTAGE system supports maintenance and operations optimisation to the benefit of the airport and airlines it serves.
BAGSTAGE has a strong pedigree derived from BAG2000 and uses current technology to ensure that integration of the baggage handling system with the wider airport IT infrastructure is both simplified and assured.
