Over many years of providing baggage handling systems to the world's airports Logan Teleflex has experienced a wide range of baggage sorting requirements. Most systems require some form of sortation from a simple 2 way sort up to high speed multi-way sort.
Logan Teleflex has developed expertise, techniques and products to suit these various sorting applications.
At the simplest level a reversing conveyor in a T junction configuration is a very cost effective and functional 2 way sort device offering a rate to suit most Hold Baggage Screening (HBS) applications.
A fast acting plough device is ideally suited to a different style of 2 way sort where bags need to be removed from a main conveyor line, divert to manual encoding is typical of this type of application.
Various types of pusher systems are offered from simple reciprocating devices offering rate up to 40 bags per minute through to our camsort pusher capable of up to 80 bags per minute.
For the most demanding applications Logan Teleflex has its latest generation tilt tray sorter which offers the traditional advantages of high speed sortation and gentle bag handling but with a new level of technology which greatly enhances the flexibility of application of the machine and its reliability of operation.
